Mission Statement

Elronies Transitional Housing is a non-profit social service agency serving the Greater Hampton Roads area. Elronies Transitional Housing helps to provide transitional housing and life skill training for those that are homeless through unforeseen circumstances. We help them “transition” from dependent relationships into independent, self-sufficient lifestyles. Elronies mission is to help the poverty stricken gain self-respect, build their self-esteem levels, and learn how to be courageous in every area of their lives through partnerships with community programs, business partnerships, and counseling. We believe this is accomplished by meeting the basic necessities of food, clothing, shelter, and education.

Ms. Johnson was also homeless for many years in the past so she will be able to connect with the women on a personal level as well.
